Artifact #11: Lit Circles Questions
Students wrote these questions prior to meeting in their groups to discuss the story. Whole class discussion was based on relevant questions that surfaced from these submissions.
ASSIGNMENT:
QUESTIONS: BRING TO TUESDAY’S CLASS! Develop five questions to pose to your group. These questions will be important: What confuses you about this story? What happens at the end of the story? How is this a feminist retelling of “Little Red Riding Hood”?
Spend some time developing good questions, and ask questions that you are genuinely curious about. Your thinking may reflect aspects of the story you were puzzled by, or may be designed to generate debate and discussion among your classmates. You may also adapt any of the questions on the “Feminist Perspective Chart” to apply specifically to this story.
